Where to stay?

The three days of wedding events are taking place at La Cotte Farm. We would love for you to stay with us onsite for the duration of the wedding. Take a look: Home | La Cotte Franschhoek (lacottefarm.com)

We have negotiated special rates and provisionally reserved (for a short grace period) all accommodation at La Cotte Farm for 28 February - 01 March. 

  • The farm has accommodation for roughly 90 guests.

  • We have negotiated room rates at approximately £160-£220 per room per night.

  • All accommodation at La Cotte requires a 50% upfront deposit.

  • We will co-ordinate bookings and payments with La Cotte, so please advise when you RSVP if you would like to stay on the farm and we will provide further details.

Unfortunately there isn’t quite enough space at La Cotte to accommodate all our wedding guests, so accommodation at La Cotte will be given on a first come first served basis.  

For those not staying onsite, La Cotte is a 10 minute walk from the centre of Franschhoek where there’s a wide range of hotels, guesthouses and Air BnB’s available. We will share a few suggested alternative accommodations over the coming weeks and we would advise booking early as the area is very popular in February/March.

How to get there

  • Cape Town International Airport is the closest airport.

  • The airport is roughly a 1 hour drive from Franschhoek. La Cotte Farm is a 2 minute drive or 10 minute walk from the centre of Franschhoek.

  • The easiest way to get around is via car or taxi (including Uber). Car hire can be easily arranged with reputable car hire companies for collection at the airport or in Cape Town.

  • It is envisaged that most of the guests will be staying on the farm so limited transport will be required during the days of the wedding. We will be arranging transport across the farm and local pick ups for the duration of the wedding events.
